Kia Damon

Brooklyn-based, Kia Damon (aka @kiacooks) is a self-taught chef and proud Floridian woman, recognized in 2019 by the New York Times as one of 16 Black Chefs Changing Food in America. She is also the Culinary Director of Cherry Bombe Magazine, founder of Kia Feeds the People fighting to end food apartheid, and author of Cooking with Florida Water (Recipes, Stories & History of the Unsung South).

Now, she graces the cover of Issue 02, Santulan Magazine, All About Consumption - concept, shoot, execution and production conducted by Ash.
