Ashvini. Well, most call her Ash (cue the cultural identity crisis!)

She is a Sri-Lankan-New Zealander (“Kiwi”) creative agent and producer, working on a bicoastal capacity between New York and Los Angeles. As the founder & editor-in-chief of creative agency + print publication Santulan Creative, Ash has worked to cultivate a community network of over 110 BIPOC and Queer artists (especially those of lower equity) across both coasts who serve those in the music and fashion industry. She serves as the liaison between the creative and the client, ensuring seamless collaboration in full-service production jobs.

Ash also serves as a junior agent at WiB Agency where she leads photographers, prop stylists, 3D & CGI artists in jobs with top tier clients across beauty, fashion, and still life. Some of her clients include Mac Cosmetics, Oribe, InterParfums Inc., Hanni, and more.

In her independent photo work, Ash intends to document and uplift the identities of marginalized communities – particularly that of the BIPOC & Queer diaspora. From the curation of crew to the finished visual product – people are her utmost priority. Her work explores the dynamic nature of diverse cultural identities, relationships, fashion, and music.

When art meets culture, and culture meets art. That’s the magic.
